I met the sweet Lancaster family this summer when they visited our church and shared their missionary story. They are in Albany on furlough through the end of this year, and in January they will head back to Africa to continue their efforts with the people of Zimbabwe.
While stateside, the family is visiting area churches around South Georgia and sharing what is happening through their ministry. This helps raise support and allow them to continue working with families abroad.
I knew that as they share their story they would need a good, updated family photo! It's the first thing churches they visit ask for. And having a photo for their supporters will be a tangible reminder to pray for them while they are back in Zimbabwe.
One of the most important parts of what I do during a family session has nothing to do with my camera. The experience during the shoot is directly tied to the way you will feel about those images later, which is why playing together, being silly, and snuggling up are all priorities! And I am pretty sure the Lancaster family agrees--we had so much fun!!
