Sweet Ellie and I had a wonderful time on her senior portrait adventure! We started out in the studio for a traditional drape portrait. Following that, our locations included Theatre Albany, Radium Springs, and the Marine Corps Base--all special places to both her and her family.
Did you know that here in Albany and surrounding South Georgia area, there is a thriving community of homeschoolers? Many of my seniors are part of this community and it allows a little more flexibility when it comes to scheduling their sessions! We were able to wait until the weather cooled and also shoot on a weekday, when most students are still in class.
One of the perks of homeschool is that you can choose your own cap and gown colors! I love love love that she chose white and PINK--which happened to work perfectly with the breast cancer awareness ribbons that adorned the columns at Theatre Albany.
She carried the pretty in pink theme over to Radium Springs with a lovely casual outfit--sporting a pink shirt and jeans. Those sheer sleeves looked amazing with the sunlight shining through.
We ended our senior portrait adventure at Albany's MCLB, where her dad is the colonel. They lived on base for a season, so it was a special location to capture! Ellie was such a joy to work with! She is just as beautiful on the inside as she out, and I can't wait to see where life takes her.
